“Godzilla” Remake News: CG Godzilla will Battle Other Monster(s)

Even though we don’t typically follow the mainstream Hollywood tripe, I can’t turn away from any form of a new Godzilla feature.

Here is what we have learned:

• “Godzilla” is supposed to hit theaters in 2012.
• The film will be a 3D feature.
• Godzilla will be a computer generated creature.
• There will be another monster or monsters in the film that Godzilla will fight.
• Legendary is walking into this project with the same mentality they had for “Batman”.
• The rumored Godzilla re-design that was floating around the internet was a sham.

So take it for what it’s worth. I am obviously skeptical and would highly prefer to simply see a new Toho produced Godzilla film. I really hope they stick closely to the original Godzilla design, or else it simply wouldn’t be… Godzilla. Right?
